God has given us great light, and we are to take that light to the world. But our lights grow dim, and eventually fade, if we allow the cares of this world to turn us from the straight and narrow path that leads to heaven. In a world that tempts us to indulge in unrestrained appetite and passions, it seems inescapable. But Christ has made it possible for us to escape the corruption that is in the world. He calls you today to “rise, and stand upon thy feet” (Acts 26:16). His purpose for your life is greater and more fulfilling than the fleeting pleasures of this world.

Topic: The Book of Galatians
June 13-20, 2010 – Pine Springs Ranch, CA
The methods of interpretation used in Bible study will determine proper understanding. At INTENSE 2010 we studied how to ask intelligent questions, how to get sound answers, and how to discern the “one grand golden thread running through the whole” (Selected Messages, Vol 1, p 20). This guided, verse-by-verse study of Galatians deepened our understanding of this epistle and provided guidance when applying the same principles to study other books of the Bible. Our Sabbath speakers inspired us with our calling to be actively involved in the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
